Kids in Kindergarten to Grade 8 who want help with math. Sessions are held online. Students up to Grade 12 can also use the games and daily challenges.

Your child plays math games in the arcade, and their tutor can see how it went. In a small group (Toughest Topics), your child works through the hardest concepts of their grade together with other children, over eight weekends. One-on-one sessions are built around what your child is doing in school right now. You can play a game without an account on the Try the games page. Creating a free account lets your child save their progress and coins.

A computer or tablet with an internet connection and a web browser. For sessions, a working microphone and camera help, and a quiet spot makes a big difference.

Groups have up to 4 students, usually 3 or 4, so the tutor can help each one and the kids still get to work together.

In a small group (Toughest Topics), your child works through the hardest concepts of their grade, step by step, with other children from the same grade, over eight weekends. Homework help is one-on-one and personalised: the tutor works on whatever your child is doing in school right now, such as tonight’s homework or a test coming up, fills any gaps, and helps them move forward from there.

Toughest Topics runs in groups of 3 to 4 children over eight weekends. The first group starts on January 9, 2027. Please sign your child up before the first class, so they can take the starter quiz. For Go Further, a group takes new children until the start of its third session, so nobody joins more than two lessons behind.

In Toughest Topics, the first family in a grade chooses the class time (any one-hour start from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday), and the rest of the group joins that time. If it does not suit you, email contact@tutorizer.ca and we will tell you when the next group opens. One-on-one homework help can be booked at almost any time.

A session lasts about an hour and is held online over a video meeting. The tutor starts with the topics your child found tricky in the arcade.

No. Tutorizer does not record sessions, and we ask everyone not to record or screenshot them.

Yes. Once you have a plan, you book a weekly time slot from your parent dashboard.

Yes. You can message your child’s tutor inside Tutorizer, and you also get a progress report every week.

We offer three things: Toughest Topics (an eight-weekend small-group program on the hardest concepts of each grade from Kindergarten to Grade 8, paid in two monthly payments), Go Further (a weekly small group for children working ahead of their grade), and one-on-one homework help. The games and daily practice are free. See current prices on the pricing page.

Monthly homework help and Go Further plans renew every month until you cancel. The 3-month plan is paid upfront and renews every 3 months until you cancel. Toughest Topics does not renew: it is two monthly payments of $320, and then it ends.

A single session can be cancelled up to 24 hours before it starts, and you get a session credit back. To cancel your plan, do it from Membership & Billing at least 48 hours before your renewal date. You keep your sessions until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Life happens. Please get in touch and we’ll try to help. Missed sessions aren’t automatically refunded or made up.

Yes. Members can buy single add-on sessions from the pricing page when they’re signed in.

Fees are generally not refundable once a billing cycle has started, but we may offer a refund or credit in fair cases, such as a billing error or a session we cancel. Details are in our Terms of Service.

No ads. Coins are earned by playing and have no cash value, so there’s nothing to buy inside the games.

Coins are a reward for practicing. Kids can spend them on avatar items and games.

A first name, grade, a username, and their learning activity, such as answers and scores. The full list is in our Privacy Policy.

You, their tutor, and our administrators. Other students can see a username or display name and avatar on leaderboards, so we suggest a first name or nickname. Friends and group members can also see each other’s display name, weekly XP, streak and Daily Sprint score.

Some features use AI to draft things like session notes and progress summaries. We remove your child’s name before anything is sent and put it back when the result comes back. The Privacy Policy has the details, and you can ask us not to use AI features for your child.

Yes. You can delete a child\u2019s account yourself from the parent dashboard, or contact us and we\u2019ll do it. We delete the account and its information, except for records we\u2019re required by law to keep.

Yes. Email contact@tutorizer.ca and we will email a copy to the address on your account.

Only friends. A student adds a friend from their grade by typing that friend’s exact username, and the friend has to accept. There is no directory and no search by name. Phone numbers, email addresses and links are removed from messages, and anyone can block and report. Parents of children under 13 can see their child’s friend list.

Yes. Students keep a daily streak, do a five-question Daily Sprint, and see a weekly leaderboard of their friends. They can also make small private groups of friends and compete inside the group.
