The rules

• Who can win. Students in Canada, outside Quebec, with a Tutorizer account. You tell us your province on this page, and the contest is not open to residents of Quebec. A child under 13 needs their parent's approval to have an account, so only approved accounts can win. Tutorizer staff and their families cannot win.
• When. XP counts from October 19 to November 30, 2026 (Toronto time). There is one contest and one winner.
• What counts. Arcade XP: the XP you earn by answering questions correctly in the arcade games during those dates. It is free to enter, no purchase is needed, and paying for sessions gives no advantage.
• The winner. The student with the most XP at the end. If two students tie, the one who reached that total first wins.
• Checking the winner. Before a prize is sent, we look at the top accounts to make sure the XP was earned fairly. Using more than one account, using tools or tricks to get XP faster, or breaking the rules of the site means disqualification, and the prize goes to the next student.
• The prize. One $25 gift card e-gift card from Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza, Dairy Queen. The winner chooses which. We announce the winner by email to the parent or guardian on the account, within 7 days after the contest ends. The card is sent by email to that parent or guardian. If we do not hear back within 14 days, the prize goes to the next student.
• Your information. We use only your username and XP for the board, and we contact the winner through their parent or guardian. See our Privacy Policy.
• Changes. Tutorizer can change or end the contest, and the decision of Tutorizer about the winner is final.
